AZAD HIND Neck Cross with Swords
This rare award was given to the Indian volunteers in the German Army. Authorized by the Free India Committee headed by Chandra Bose, this order was ended in 1961 when the Free India Committee was disolved. Rudolf Souval of Vienna was the only maker of this award. Those made after 1961, for collectors, have a plain disc on the reverse and Souval maker name. This neck award has been worn and used and has a small enamel damage next to the bow, on the circle.
